Ice Climbing
Eric on the Good the Bad and the Ugly
Waterfall, Alpine Ice and Mixed Climbing captured my soul at an early age. Since first swinging my big curved ice axes in Lee Vining Canyon in the mid '70's to groveling up the modern mixed routes...practicing ice climbing defines the sport for me. Lots of time out there and never quite being as good as I want to be.

Climbing in the Rockies is very predictable. It usually starts late October; the season is in full "swing" by mid December and the first week of June is, well, a little bit late.

All ice climbing is booked on a private basis and available throughout the season. Below is a small sampling available routes graded as beginner, intermediate and advanced. Send me a note and we can design a trip!
